Dedicated fathers who haven’t time for their sons… Father was reading the evening paper. His lad came over to his chair and started asking him questions about what was going on in the UN and what the UN really meant. Father couldn't be bothered trying to explain the complex set up to the boy. He tore a sheet out of the paper, ripped it up and gave it to the small boy, asking him to busy himself putting the sheet together. The father didn't want to be bothered. In a few short moments the boy nudged his dad and asked him to look at the page which had been perfectly placed together. Father asked the lad how he had put the pieces together so quickly. The lad explained to his dad that it was really fairly simple. On one side of the page was a large picture of a boy. On the other side, a large picture of the world. The little boy explained that he had pieced together the side with the boys picture upright. He told his father that he figured if he got the boy straightened out, the world would turn out all right. Think about this story, father, the next time your lad wants a little information which you don't feel inclined to give.
